Online Fiction
Size limit: 1000
Submit your short, short fiction, flash fiction, immediate fiction, etc., Shaking Online. We're looking for fiction that's about 1000 words or less and not afraid to take chances. We will also consider work that bends form and genre, for example, collaborations between the written word and sound, video, and other mediums.Work submitted for the online portion of the journal may also be considered for other formats.
Online Essays
Size limit: 1000
We are looking for personal essays and short nonfiction explorations into what it means to be human. As you can see, that opens a whole world of possibilities. If you can do it beautifully in 1000 words or less, we'd like to see it.
